The crowing glory: the accessories. A statement that
speaks for the firm.
The crowning glory of any facility is its touches of elegance
introduced to tie the whole package together. The "bow
and ribbons" which change the empty walls and ineffective
bare spaces into a beautifully decorated statement.
The walls and empty areas echo prior to being adorned with
paintings, sculptures, graphics and other objects d'art.
The plants and flowers lend a warmth and color that soften
the overall appearance of the space and work in harmony
with the other accessories.
The glass sculptures of one firm may be incongruous in
a firm furnished in chippendale and claw-and-ball, while
the pastoral scenes framed in weathered wood would be lost
in the other. An extension of the overall expression of
a firm is the flavor of the artwork and finishing touches.
These accessories require care as do the rest of the furnishings
and finishes. Periodic glass and frame cleaning is important
as is the frequent dusting of the sculpted pieces. Tapestries
and fabric wall hangings should be vacuumed on a regular
basis.
Most firms have a commercial plant care company performing
weekly services to nurture and support the health of the
greenery. Silk plants can be maintained by the company performing
the specialty services.
